A legendary rivalry

Sneaker Wars - adidas v Puma is a three-part documentary about the remarkable story of the Dassler brothers. The documentary follows the rise of these two sports brands and how their rivalry revolutionized the world of sportswear.

I had the pleasure of working with Erwin van den IJssel on developing the animated graphics for the series. Collage, photocopy, scans, tears, scratches, every element was carefully designed and animated to bring this multifaceted story to life: a perfect mix of techniques for a legendary rivalry.
